Jamie Paige
Jamie Paige Stanley, known professionally as JamieP, is an American musician known for creating synthpop music with Synth V and other vocal synthesis software, notably as part of the group Flavor Foley. She is best known for her songs "BIRDBRAIN" featuring OK Glass with the SynthV vocals of Kasane Teto, "Machine Love" with the SynthV and UTAU vocals of Kasane Teto, and "Butcher Vanity" with Vane Lily and ricedeity with the vocals of Yi Xi. Other vocal synths she has used in her discography include Gumi SV, ANRI Arcane, and Solaria. She has contributed original tracks to the video game Unbeatable, and produced an arrangement of Porter Robinson's song "Cheerleader" for the game Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!, using the vocals of Hatsune Miku. Stanley also contributed to the soundtrack for the webcomic Homestuck in 2016.
Her musical style is inspired by artists such as Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Peter Gabriel and The Alan Parsons Project. Her upbringing in Houston, Texas was formative to her production tendencies. Paige has been described as having "introspective lyrics, and clever Vocaloid experimentation". The vocals in her music are usually autotuned and mixed in with her own vocals. Her music also frequently incorporates leitmotifs.
